The exhibition located in the building attempts to recreate the interior of the home of the painter Wlastimil Hofman, who lived here with his wife Ada. The artist represented the Symbolist and Traditionalist movements. He was born in Prague, Czech Republic, and died in the 70s in Szklarska Poręba. On display are the original furniture, items brought from Krakow, costumes, painting tools, and above all, the paintings that adorned the artist’s home. Mr. Wacław Jędrzejczak, the heir and caretaker of the Hofman's house, looks after the home.
